About Taiao Surveyors
Welcome to Taiao Surveyors! I'm Alex Rameka, Senior Surveyor and Director of this company I founded in 2023, though my journey in the Land Surveying spans over 24 years. My experience has taken me across New Zealand and Australia—from Auckland to Kerikeri, Christchurch, North Queensland, Brisbane, and Central Queensland—now I'm proudly based back in Kerikeri. This central location allows me to serve all of Northland, working from Mangawhai to Cape Reinga and everywhere in between. The name 'Taiao' is derived from the Māori word for "World, Earth, Natural World, Environment, Nature, Country" A desire to incorporate my heritage into my work.
